1. Your Name:  Erica Hesley 2. Your Company: Ultimate Ventures 3. Your Position: Director of Product Development 4. Why did you join ISES? I heard that only the really cool kids get to join! And… it increases my industry involvement allowing me to meet new and fascinating people. 5. Briefly describe your company’s role in the special events industry: Ultimate Ventures is a local Destination Management Company assisting our clients with a range of services including transportation, theme events, team-building, tours and pretty much any other program needs that arise. 6. Which living person do you most admire?  George Clooney – and not JUST for the obvious reasons! The perfect combination of charm, wit and intelligence he has been able to make a living doing something that he loves without taking himself too seriously. He also uses his fame to bring attention to important world issues. 7. How do you unwind after a long day at work? I usually unwind by indulging my craft addiction. Twice a week I receive “art therapy” from my pottery class. 8. What tip would you give to someone entering the event industry? Work hard, but enjoy it. We are not curing cancer! 9. What are three things that you could not live without? Coffee, quiet time and my friends. 10. What is one thing that most people would not know about you? My secret love of motorcycles.  |
